Find the Wedge in all of your Pulling & Pushing Movements

Here, the Wedge in the Get-Up—

A wedge is used to create space between two objects. We can apply this principle to fitness as well, especially when performing a movement such as the Get-Up. Thought and practice on making your body a Wedge during movements will allow you create more tension, which translates to power and strength.

The idea of making your body the Wedge when performing the Get-Up also creates the appropriate tension needed throughout the movement, not allowing for any tension to be lost. Think of pushing away from the floor while pushing your body away from the kettlebell during the movement. This creates the Wedge.
