Reach is a brand new, state of the art Rock Climbing and Fitness facility located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Our facility has the tallest walls in the region with climbs topping out at 55 feet, a 15-meter regulation speed wall, and thousands of square feet of Bouldering. Our building has a unique open floor plan with extensive community space, fitness/weight training areas, yoga room, and dedicated climbing specific training zones.

Meet Emily, our Member of the Month -->

Hi, I'm Emily and I've been climbing for just under a year. My friend Rachel got me into climbing. I'm an artist, one of my jobs is teaching art through a nonprofit. I have a cat named Willow, I caught her with a butterfly net when she was a kitten.

What does the Reach community mean to you?
The community has definitely been my favorite aspect of rock climbing. Everyone has been so kind and encouraging and that's something I strive to emulate.

What are your rock climbing goals?
I'm trying to learn lead, and in general just trying to improve my strength and technique to the best of my ability.

What is your life like outside of climbing?
Right now, it's just a lot of work. I'm hoping to improve my work life balance so that I can reconnect with my personal art practice and be more consistent with weight lifting. I also love getting food/coffee with friends and thrifting art history books.

Favorite crag if any? Favorite gym or crag snack?
I haven't had the time to climb outside yet, but I'm trying to coordinate with friends and finally touch real rocks before the end of the year. I'm a big fan of the yerba madres, and any sweet snack.

What can’t you leave home without?
I can't leave home without petting Willow bye and telling her that I love her and will see her later. Also keys and water bottle.
