We're coming to the end of our first week of our summer session and we're off to an awesome start! Aubrey was on fire at our developmental tumbling class last night 🔥🔥 She is sooooo close to that full twist and we're just getting started this summer. Way to go Aubrey, keep up the good work!!!!!

A message from Coach Joe:

With the recent passing of my great friend and mentor, Jerry Andrews, I'd like to speak of this amazing man and his impact upon my life and this gym. All of the students and parents we've had the privilege to welcome into this gym is the result of Jerry's dedicated and fearless pursuit of all that interested him. These interests were many, and most recently, his talents, his performances, and renowned song writing with the Crandall Creek Bluegrass Band, for which he is most famous.

Without Jerry, this gym likely doesn't exist. And my place in it, of which I am so grateful, likely doesn't either.

It began with a phone call in 1984, Jerry wanting me to teach children's gymnastics. I told him that I had never done gymnastics, however, that didn't matter to Jerry. He thought I would be a good addition to his program, and if you knew Jerry, he rarely took no for an answer. He believed in me possibly more than anyone I had ever known. His tutelage, instruction, and understanding of the mechanics this sport required were invaluable to me, but, it was his interaction with children that was the most remarkable, compassionate, and especially so silly and fun in the most beautiful way! It carried a spirit that extends to this day and I believe will into the next generation.

I love you Jerry. Rest in peace.

Added another one to our step out club! Ella with her front tuck step out into an almost one and a half twist! Nice job Ella!!🤩🤩

Our advanced tumbling class has been working on their front tuck step outs and these three girls make them look sooo easy! Brinley with a step out to a double full twist and Calla and Daykota with a step out to full. Way to go girls!!

While most cheer seasons have ended or are almost over, Kristalyn has been busy working on upgrades for next cheer season already.
Kristalyn and Coach Joe have been putting in extra work on Wednesdays and it definitely shows. Her cartwheel full twist and standing two handsprings to a full twist look effortless!!!

A lot of new skills happening tonight in our gymnastics classes. Kenley landing her back tuck on the floor and Ellie throwing her back handspring by herself!! Way to go girls!!!!😁😁
