Goose Down Outfitters would like to thank all of our clients over the past years. Mark worked very hard to build his dream from the ground up and share his passion with those around him. I have put my heart into seeing it continue on, but my path in life has changed as well since losing Mark. As we step into the new season there will be some changes taking place. Seth at Prarie Rock Outfitters will be stepping in to handle all bookings, managing clients, and hunts. We will work together to provide exceptional hunting and lodging. A big thank you for everyone that participated in the Mark Didier Memorial Hunt! 1st place went to Nate Rife, Aaron Ogden, Dan Pollard, & Mathew Pollard. 2nd place went to Matt Marchio, Rob Marchio, Jordan Walter, & Steve Walter. Winner of the grand prize shotgun was Kyle Hoxworth! And these little gals Remi Ybarra & Halley Hass both took home lifetime hunting permits! Stay tuned this spring for winners of the scholarship! Thanks again to everyone who helps make this event possible!❤️

3rd Annual Mark Didier Memorial Hunt
Saturday January 3, 2026.

~4 man teams, $100.00/gun. Deadline for entry is December 31.
~Hunt legal shooting hours, Canadian geese only. Teams win with 20 birds, if multiple teams limit out, birds will be weighed for tie breaking.
~No referees, hunt runs on honor system, all proceeds go to Mark’s Scholarship fund.
~Calcutta will run from 5:30-9:30pm Jan 2
~Brisket meal at Goose Down Outfitters that evening with raffle prizes/calcutta winners announced.
~Grand prize: Beretta A300 20gauge shotgun.
~3 lifetime hunting permits
~ each team member will receive an automatic entry for prizes, additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $25.00 at the lodge.

I have received some phone calls with some confusion on a previously employed guide inquiring on leasing hunting ground. I would like to clarify that they have no longer have any association with goose down outfitters. We have our ground secured with many new additions this year and if I’m interested in leasing I will be visiting with landowners personally! We wish them the best of luck and a wonderful hunting season!
