🏆 Congratulations Cassidy on 5th and 9th Overall and Titanium scores at 8national Talent Competition in Gulf Shores! 🏖️

This dancer has always been a star, but took a leap of faith this season by competing at the Advanced level…a step many dancers and studio leaders are hesitant to take.

Instead of chasing the easiest path, she chose the one that would challenge her most.

She’s worked incredibly hard, stayed humble, never lost her love for dance, and has excelled at every competition this year. We’re so proud of the growth, confidence, and resilience she’s built along the way.

Proof that when you stop chasing comfort and start chasing growth, great things happen. 🤍

Just our new Mini Company (ages 4-7) starting to learn the Shim Sham Shimmy! 💝👞

A lot of people think tap class is just learning a cute routine for a recital. While we definitely love performing, our dancers spend class time learning tap technique, rhythm, patterns, musicality, and foundational skills that will support them for a lifetime! 🧠

By recital time, they’re not just performing a dance…they’re applying skills they’ve been developing all season.

A few years ago, we were down to just two teachers.

As a studio owner, I knew that wasn’t sustainable. I worried about the future and wondered how we would continue to grow while giving our dancers everything they deserved.

What happened next can only be explained by God’s faithfulness.

Just two weeks later, He brought us our ballet director. Then, over the next two years, He continued to bring some of the most talented, dedicated, and caring people I’ve ever had the privilege of working alongside.

Today, as I reflect on our studio, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Not just for what each staff member does, but for who they are. They love our dancers, support one another, share the same vision, and help create the positive, encouraging culture that makes Miss Twister Dance Company feel like home.

This season has been one of the happiest and most harmonious we’ve ever experienced, and so much of that is because of the incredible people standing beside me every day.

To our staff: thank you for your passion, your loyalty, your hard work, and the countless ways you pour into our dancers, while laughing and having a blast every step of the way! You have helped build something truly special, and I am grateful for each and every one of you.

God knew exactly who our studio needed, and He brought you here at exactly the right time. ❤️

And just like that, the final curtain has closed on another incredible season. 🤠✨

A year ago, we chose a country theme simply because we wanted to celebrate great music, great dancing, and the joy of being together. What we didn’t know was how perfectly it would reflect the spirit of this season.

Country music is about family, hard work, community, resilience, and finding joy in the simple things. Looking back, that’s exactly what this year at Miss Twister Dance Company has been about.

From the first day of classes to the final bow, this season has been filled with growth, laughter, friendships, unforgettable performances, and so many moments that reminded us why we love what we do.

To our dancers: thank you for your dedication, heart, and passion.

To our families: thank you for every car ride, costume change, late pickup, and standing ovation.

To our teachers and staff: thank you for pouring so much love into these kids every single day.

And to everyone who helped bring this production to life…thank you for making this one of the most special seasons we’ve ever had.
