BRICK UNITED 9U 2025 2025 MLB HOT START POOL RULES:
For the fundraiser, there will be 8 payouts totaling $850 that will be handed out after 25 games into the 2025 MLB Season. This will include 6 MLB Division winners ($100 each), an overall MLB Best Record winner ($150) and an overall MLB Worst Record to start the season of $100.
If there is a Divisional tie (NL East, NL Central NL West, AL East, AL Central or AL West) after 25 games, the contest for that “single” Division payout will be extended an additional 5 games to 30 games to determine a winner for that Division/s. If there is still a tie after 30 games for that Division/s, the contest will be extended in 1 additional game increments for that “single” Division/s until a winner is declared for that Division/s. When extended to 30 games for a “single” Division, if the 3rd place Team after 25 games jumps up to first after 30 games, they would win that division.
If there is an overall MLB Best Record tie between 2 or more teams after 25 games, the contest for the overall MLB Best Record payout will be extended an additional 5 games to 30 games “for all teams” to determine a winner for overall MLB Best Record. If there is still a tie after 30 games, the contest will be extended in 1 additional game increments until a winner for overall MLB Best Record is determined. If extended to 30 games, it is possible that a Team that was “not” a Division winner after 25 games can still win the $150 prize for MLB Best Record.
If there is an overall MLB Worst Record tie between 2 or more teams after 25 games, the contest for the overall MLB Worst Record payout will be extended an additional 5 games to 30 games “for all teams” to determine a winner for the overall MLB Worst Record. If there is still a tie after 30 games, the contest will be extended in 1 additional game increments until a $100 winner for the overall MLB Worst Record is determined.
