Gabriel Tackle Co. Morning Report 09/08/26 good morning! Today’s high is going to be 83 degrees, Manasquan inlet tides for today are as follows: high tide 5:51am & 6:13pm, Low tide 11:46am, sunrise 6:31am, sunset 7:16pm. Beach and boating conditions for today: I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend Fluke fishing remains good, we did get reports that the Axel is starting to produce more keepers. Also reports of anglers heading north out the inlet up by the Sandy Hook area is producing more keepers. Same issue in the Manasquan River and inlet and Barnegat Bay. Big baits produce bigger fish. Reports of blues, mahi, and bonita being landed on our local wrecks and reefs also. In the surf reports of bonita and fluke, and the occasional striper other wise not much else going on. The Point Pleasant Canal still has plenty of stripers, and blues at night. For stripers live eels or spots is the way to go, you just have to get your bait down passed the blues if you want to target stripers. Offshore reports of nice size mahi and marlin out at monsters ledge, bluefin off the seaside lumps, little Italy, shipping lanes and Bacardi. Crabbing has been good off our local docks and bridges. Clamming the banks also is doing very well. Have a great day and tight lines!
