Lion Martial Arts Taekwondo will be closed for Summer Break during Independence Day Weekend from July 3rd through July 7th, 2026.

This short break allows our entire instructional team to rest, recharge, spend time with family, and return refreshed and ready to serve our students with even more energy and enthusiasm.

We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding. We promise to come back with fresh minds, renewed passion, and the same commitment to helping our students grow in confidence, discipline, and character.

[𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝]

The Horse Stance Middle Punch in Taekwondo contains far more than a simple punch. It carries principles that have been passed down through generations of martial artists. Hidden within this basic movement are the foundations of martial arts and the true mechanics of power.

When practiced correctly, students begin to understand the principles behind effective punching, body connection, balance, and power generation.

Children may sometimes find this drill repetitive or difficult, but that is exactly why they should not stop when it becomes challenging. If they persevere and continue practicing with dedication, they will eventually discover the underlying principles and the true source of power.

The greatest lessons in martial arts are often hidden within the simplest movements.

I'd like to introduce two great friends who first met at our Taekwondo school. They trained side by side, encouraged each other through challenges, earned their Black Belts together, and remain close friends to this day.

Stories like theirs remind us that a Taekwondo school is about much more than kicks and punches. It's a place where lifelong friendships are built, confidence grows, and unforgettable memories are made.

There is no doubt that the dojang can be a wonderful place for children to learn, grow, and find friends who walk beside them for years to come.

What a wonderful day with our Lion Martial Arts family !

Last Saturday's picnic was filled with laughter, friendship, great food, water battles, games, and unforgettable memories. It was so special to see our students and families spending time together outside of class and strengthening the bonds that make our school community so unique.
