A top priority for us at has always been to provide top quality competition grade equipment and an environment that allows you to practice how you play. We have made some big improvements over the past few months but finally got our new centerpiece in. Our second full comp set including rack, bar, plates and more. I hope our current and future members love the new toys! We are now fully equipped with 5 Competition Racks on carpeted platforms and 5 sets of calibrated plates as well as so much more!

‼️ PARENTS - we are VERY excited to present our first ever Summer Strength & Conditioning Camp ‼️

This camp is designed and driven to greatly benefit teenagers who are:

- Involved in competitive school or town sports.
- Looking for an introduction to barbell training.
- Simply spending too much time doing NOTHING

Don’t let your teens waste the summer away while their competition gets stronger, faster, and better.

With a lot of great things in the works… 2024 is set to be our biggest year yet ‼️

CURRENT GYM IMPROVEMENTS:

• 4 new CARPETED rack platforms ‼️
• Additional combo racks ‼️
• Full approved competition platform set (rack, chrome plates, bar) with ANOTHER rack (improved specs) on the way‼️
• Full competition platform set (new rack, plates, bar) on the way ‼️
• Streamlined gym access for members/day passes (QR code digital key tags, membership tiers, discounted day pass bundles, with more improvement to membership options in the works) ‼️

SOME FUN STUFF TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

• June 1st we welcome back and for the first annual SMG SUMMER SLAM (first sanctioned meet in the new space) ‼️
• SUMMER STRENGTH CLASSES (MORE INFO SOONER THAN LATER) ‼️
• Our second annual Fall Deadlift Party. The date is tentative to October and we’re planning on making this years event BIG (more to come on that) ‼️
• RENOVATION PLANS TO CREATE MORE AVAILABLE FLOOR SPACE IN THE GYM FOR TRAINING AND EQUIPMENT ⁉️🤯

We are very excited to finally open our Briarcliff Manor location starting Monday 8/24!

We are not taking walk- ins, please contact us via email or DM to set up an appointment for a visit or for any and all membership inquiries.

We are saddened to report that although we were ready to unveil SMG 2.0 as of tomorrow, we will remain CLOSED until we are allowed to re-open.
To all of our members that have been so supportive not only throughout all that is happening now, but also everyone that helped with the move and spent endless hours in Briarcliff trying to help us get our new home built!
At this point we will take this time to work on all the little details, and we will share some photos in the days to come.

MOVE UPDATE _ SMG Powerlifting

Hello Members
As you may have already noticed, we have started to move out some of the equipment and we are making good progress in the new space. We plan to complete the move this upcoming weekend.
Therefore, all members will be frozen as of Friday, the 28th of February. You can come in and workout until Friday evening.
We will need a few days to set up the equipment and finalize things in Briarcliff before we can open up the doors, so there will be a short down time.
We need to get back to lifting 💪 so trust us when we say we will do everything possible to make sure it will be a very short down time 😁
In the meantime, enjoy your last workouts in Yorktown!
We will follow up soon with an email and social media posts to provide further details.
