Oneida Lake Walleye Trail
Here are the rules for the 2026 OLWT.

Oneida Lake Walleye Trail 2026
1- This is a 2 person team walleye tournament. (2 people per boat) . You can fish solo in any event or with sub. Teams are allowed to use one sub, that sub can fish multiple events if needed.
2- Tournament dates for 2026 season SPFFF May 16, June 20th 6:30-11:30,am July 11 6-11 am, August 15 & 16 6-12:00 pm will be held at A&P Marina with weigh in to follow 30 minutes after end time.
3- Limit of 20 teams per tournament for June, July, and August OLWT events. SPFFF tournament is open registration and all teams welcomed.
4- All TOY points teams will need to prepay. SPFFF entry $120.00 for event and $20.00 for the big fish pot. You can sign up at Lakeside Outfitters or online at the SPFFF site.
5- ALL TOY points teams will need to prepay $150.00 for June, July, and August tournaments and will receive a spot for those tournaments. Entry fee of $50.00 per team, per event. .
6- Membership of $40.00 per person can be paid to Ed Hatten directly and your information will be added to OLWT roster. Monies need to be collected prior to May 15, 2026. You will be issued a TWF membership card and roster number. For TOY points and chance at NTC bid, $40.00 per person for TWF membership card.
7- We will weigh 5 legal walleyes for heaviest bag. 2 person limit of 10 total in the boat live well. No Cull.
8- 100% of entry will be paid back.
9- Payments for SPFFF to be determined by SPFFF rules committee. Balance of tournaments 1 in 5 will cash
Payout 40% 30%, 20%, 10% based on 20 teams. 45%, 35%, 20% based on 15 teams, 60%, 40% based on 10 teams
10- Tournament waters will be Oneida Lake between route 81 bridge and route 13 bridge.
11- Must fish out of a coast guard legal boat. You cannot leave the boat. In the event of a breakdown , you can transfer one team member and your 5 fish bag to another tournament boat.
12- Anglers must abide by USCG/NY boating and NYSDEC fishing regulations.
13- Any team bringing a fish to the scales under the 15 in. length limit will be disqualified.
14- All teams will dump their bag into the weigh sink or crate. Fish will be measured and inspected,
then placed on the scale for weight.
15- Should a team bring more than 5 fish to the scales , their 4 smallest fish will be weighed.
15-: Small craft warning will result in cancellation; threat of lighting can/will be grounds for delay of start or cancelation.
16.- Blow day will be following day (Sunday). If cancelled, we will run two one days tournaments in August
with TOY points awarded for day 1 and for the two day event total.
17.- All TOY teams must have TWF dues paid by 5/15/2026.
18.- TOY points will be based on 22 points for top place and awarded in order of finish 20 points and below. Teams paid and do not show will be awarded a maximum of 2 points per event based on total teams.
19.- NTC bids will be awarded to the top four teams in TOY standings at end of season and based on quantity of
BIDs received from TWF (subject to change based on current rules)
20.. Livewell checks will be completed at launch between 60 and 30 minutes prior to start.
You do not need to launch from A&P to participate.
21. You must be off plane and within 100 yards of marina entrance buoys by end time.
Failure will result in disqualification, policed by participants.
22. This league series is meant to be fun and competitive. This is for the anglers and run by the anglers.
Any disputes will decided by Ed Hatten and Brian Hammond, their decision is final.

For A&P Marina – per day launch fees are $10.00 per boat and parking is additional. Will work with Kevin if possible. Season passes are available from the Marina directly.
