A summer running camp designed for all ability levels -from beginners to state champions, ages 13 to 18. Instruction includes biomechanics, nutrition, goal setting and individualized training procedures. Small group discussions will cover goal setting, training and racing techniques, motivational techniques and cross training. Runners will also be exposed to pilates, yoga, tai-chi, weight training

and awesome challenge courses. Sponsored by Adidas, BDRC is one of the nation's most successful running camps!

Thanks to Nike’s EKINs, our campers have the opportunity to test the latest Nike shoes on trail runs, workouts, and everyday training while learning what makes each shoe unique. It’s been an incredible hands on experience, and we’re grateful for a partnership that helps our runners train, learn, and grow.

With heavy hearts we post this tribute for a beloved coach who spent 20 years at BDRC with his team and became a personal friend.

In loving memory of a great coach and an even better husband, father, grandfather and friend. You left this world 1000 times better than you found it. You will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Anita and all of the Dobbs family. We are heartbroken.

David Dobbs, longtime Hewitt-Trussville coach, killed in crash; wife Anita critically injured.
