Each OVC member school was allowed to nominate one individual for consideration for the award. The award will be voted on by school administrators and Conference office staff and announced at the end of next week.

It is never too early to think about the upcoming football season. Dan Verdun with Prairie State Pigskin talked with our Coordinator of Officials Matt Young on some of the rule changes for the upcoming season.

Punt formations and targeting penalties will see adjustments via college football rules changes the 2026 college football season. However, one potential change will not go into effect this fall.

Three staples in the OVC were recognized at the CSC convention for their 25-years of service.

Congratulations to Jeff Honza (SEMO), Kyle Schwartz (OVC) and Rich Moser (EIU).

Our Jostens 𝗢𝗩𝗖 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 is Western Illinois Athletics senior outfielder Justin Bogard. Last year he was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
