In having some conversations with different people and having a conversation at length with Chris, I started to realize we are all mentally at different states. While some of us are able to deal with our situation a little better than others some of us are taking it a little harder. In a conversation I had with Chris he has been seeing this virus issue differently than most of us do. Obviously because of his line of duty he sees reality sooner than some of us do or can. I know for some of us had to push back that thought that this virus is serious, or how it could affect us. “It’s a it’s ok it’s not going to happen to us out here” thought process. But as things started changing and change a a fast pace, we mentally still want to push back, and it’s a reality we didn’t want to acknowledge . Now that we are in Shelter in Place some of us are trying to process a lot of different emotions. You might not even realize that you struggling more than you’re willing to accept, but acknowledging that you are struggling with processing the emotions you are feeling and what is going on around us is something that we need to let out in some way. We are very use to our community that we have at Delta. Now we are having to workout at home and it is has become a mental struggle to workout by ourselves and stay motivated. Some of you are doing an awesome job and including your kids or now have started working out with your spouse. Right now it’s about continuing to move and relieve that stress that anxiety we are feeling not necessarily about how fast we can move. Sharing small clips and encouraging each other is a great way to feel sense of community we have always had. Reach out to one another and us on those days that you are struggling a little more. We will get through this. Keep moving, keep motivating each other, keep being 💪🏽
