Tomorrow: 500m row for time. 🚣‍♂️💨

And apparently I turned this into an in-house gambling operation.

The bet:
How many guys at Trivium go sub 1:30?
How many girls go sub 1:45?

Now we need the data to settle it.

So tomorrow, LOG. YOUR. SCORE.

Is it important for tracking your fitness and longevity in the sport? Sure.

Is it MORE important because Matthew Burke Burke and I have a bet riding on it? Absolutely.

Drop your prediction below, then make sure you post that score tomorrow.

What does it take to stay at the top when the game keeps changing?

We got into this on EP19 using Michael Jordan as an example.

You’ve already won. You’ve proven you can do everything you need to do. But another year goes by, your body changes, the competition gets better, and the sport keeps evolving.

So what do you work on?

Do you just keep doing the same things that got you there? Or do you look at where the game is going and figure out what you need to be great at now?

For a CrossFit Games athlete, maybe you don’t need to keep getting better at everything. You’re already strong. You already have the skills. Maybe at that point it’s about figuring out the few things that actually keep you in the mix.

For us, a big one was power output.

Keep that high, stay good enough everywhere else, and when CrossFit throws something weird at you, hopefully it’s something you can absolutely sell out on.

Really fun conversation on this one.

WODAROO is officially in the books. 🎙️🔥

But what actually went on behind the scenes?

Rain at 4AM. Last-minute pivots. Scoring hiccups. Six ropes going up the DAY before. Controlled chaos… and a community that somehow made the whole thing work.

On Episode 18 of Trivium Talk, we’re breaking down WODAROO, what worked, what didn’t, what we learned, and what we’d do differently next time.

And then there’s the bigger question…

What’s next for WODAROO? 👀

Individual comp? Run it back next year? Something even bigger?

🎧 Episode 18 is live now.

SHOW UP. WORK HARD. BE KIND.

Murph at Trivium 🇺🇸

Heats start Monday, Memorial Day at 8AM and roll every 20 minutes. This year the gym will be taped out with designated lanes, push-up zones, and a comp-style setup for athletes looking to push the pace.

Comp version:
10 rounds
10 Pull-Ups
20 Push-Ups
30 Air Squats
Want to partition it differently, partner up, or just survive? Cool. Just use the designated areas and come be part of it.

Most importantly — we remember why we do Murph.

WODs for Wishes shirts will be available and every dollar spent gets matched by CrossFit Trivium, with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee.

Reserve your heat in the app. Let’s have some fun.

Strong moms raise strong families.
Strong moms show up when they’re tired.
Strong moms lead from the front.
Strong moms carry more than weight, they carry homes, schedules, kids, careers, stress, and somehow still find a way to train hard.

Today we celebrate the women in our community who inspire us daily with their grit, resilience, kindness, and strength.

To every mom at Trivium, thank you for the example you set inside these walls and outside of them.

You are powerful.
You are capable.
You are STRONG.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at CrossFit Trivium ❤️

EPISODE 11 - LIVE ON SPOTIFY 🎙️

We recap the mayhem, classic and talk about the relationship between a coaches and athletes.

Trust isn’t something you just say.
It’s something you prove—over and over again.

In coaching, in competition, in life…
it goes both ways.

You trust your coach.
Your coach trusts you.

And that trust is built through reps—
showing up, doing the work, and backing it up with action.

Real definition of trust:
It’s the belief that someone will meet or exceed expectations…
based on what they’ve consistently done before.

That’s how great athletes, great coaches, and great communities are built.

Show up. Work hard. Be kind. 💛

🎙️NEW Trivium Trained Pod out now link in bio

We said it. And we’re not backing off.

CrossFit didn’t lose elite athletes…
It lost the pathway that made the sport matter.

Regionals were:
• Rare enough to matter
• Local enough to rally communities
• Simple enough to follow

Semifinals?
Messy. Diluted. Hard to care about.

This isn’t hate—it’s perspective from people who actually love the sport and lived it.

If you’ve been around long enough… you already know.
