You don't need to become louder.
You need your ideas to become more visible.

This week's conversation with Kylie Ingram reminded me that the strongest teams aren't built by the loudest voices.

They're built by leaders who intentionally create space for different perspectives.

Your voice matters.
Your thinking matters.
And your perspective might be exactly what's missing.

Passed over for a promotion you had already earned?

That sting is real. You carried the team, delivered the results, and still watched someone else get the title. Here is what most high-performing women are never told: advancement rarely goes to the hardest worker. It goes to the person whose impact leadership can clearly see and easily describe.

As a promotion coach for women, Shannon Fox helps clients close that visibility gap. If you have been passed over for promotion more than once, the problem is usually positioning, not performance, and positioning can be fixed.

✔ Identify why your contributions are going unnoticed
✔ Translate your results into a leadership narrative
✔ Build your case before the next promotion cycle opens

Fall is when many companies start planning year-end reviews and next year's leadership decisions. Whether you are in Chicago, Los Angeles, or working with Shannon virtually, now is the smart time to get your strategy in place.

Curious what is actually blocking your next move? Call now to schedule a Promotion Strategy Review with Shannon.

Are you doing great work that nobody talks about?

That quiet frustration is more common than you think. You manage big responsibilities, deliver real results, and yet your title and pay do not reflect any of it. The issue is rarely your performance. It is that your impact has never been translated into a story leadership can repeat when you are not in the room.

As a career coach for women, Shannon Fox helps high-achieving professionals learn how to get recognized at work without adding hours or burning out. Her approach is warm, direct, and practical, built on one idea: your next promotion is a positioning problem, not a performance problem.

✔ Articulate the strategic value of work you already do
✔ Set boundaries that protect your energy and your ambition
✔ Communicate impact in the language decision-makers reward

Whether you are in Miami, New York City, or connecting with Shannon virtually from anywhere, the strategy works the same. Visibility is a skill, and it can be learned.

Ready to be seen for the leader you already are? Call now to talk with Shannon about your next career move.

Nashville, if you keep delivering big results and still get overlooked, this slideshow video is for you.

I’m Shannon Fox with The Fox Fleet, LLC, and I work as a career coach for women who are high-performing, trusted, and doing a lot… but aren’t getting the credit, title, or pay that should come with it. If you’ve been passed over for promotion, it’s often not a performance problem. It’s a visibility and positioning problem.

In this video, you’ll see photos from our business while I break down a simple truth: promotions and raises don’t always go to the hardest worker. They go to the person with the clearest story. That’s why my work focuses on turning your results into recognition:
- Map your impact in a way leadership actually cares about
- Link your work to business goals and executive priorities
- Practice how to get recognized at work without sounding pushy
- Rehearse how to ask for a raise with calm confidence
- Build a clear plan for how to get promoted at work (without burnout)

If you’re looking for a promotion coach for women, an executive career coach for women, a salary negotiation coach, a career advancement coach, or a leadership coach for women, this is exactly what we do.

We serve clients across North America, including Nashville, Tenn, Chicago, Il, Los Angeles, Ca, New York City, NY, Miami, fl, and Denver, Co.

Primary CTA: Schedule a Promotion Strategy Review to get clear on what to say, what to show, and how to make your value impossible to ignore.

Helping people understand your thinking isn't self-promotion.
It's part of your responsibility as a leader.

I think this distinction matters, especially for high-performing women who worry that talking about their ideas, recommendations, or impact will come across as self-promotional.

There's a difference between saying something simply to be noticed and communicating something because it can move the work forward.

Before your next meeting, choose one idea, recommendation, or update you need to share.

Then answer three questions:
1. Why does this matter?
2. Why does it matter now?
3. How does it help the business, team, or customer?

Those three questions shift the way you communicate.

You're no longer simply reporting information.

You're providing context.
You're connecting your thinking to priorities.
You're demonstrating that you understand the bigger picture.

You're communicating value.

And that's a leadership skill.

Save these three questions and try them before your next meeting.

Ever feel like your ideas keep getting overlooked?

It might not be because your ideas need to be better.
They may simply need a better voice.

✨ Great ideas don't automatically create influence.
✨ Context creates influence
✨ Clarity creates confidence.
✨ Confidence builds trust.

Before your next meeting ask yourself:
✔ Why does this matter?
✔ Why does it matter now?
✔ How does it help the business?

Your job isn't simply to have great ideas.
Your job is to help other people understand why they matter.

Two women.

Same experience.

Both talented.
Both hardworking.
Both consistently delivering results.

But one walks into the meeting thinking: "What do I need to get done today?"

The other walks in thinking: "How can I help this team move forward today?"

THAT is the shift.

One is focused on ex*****on.

The other is beginning to think beyond her individual responsibilities and toward the success of the team.

And here's what I want more high-performing women to understand: You don't have to wait until someone gives you a leadership title to start thinking like a leader.

You can start TODAY.

Before your next meeting, ask yourself: "How can I help move this team forward?"

Then watch how differently you start showing up. 🔥

💬 Which question are you walking into meetings asking?

09/09/2026

You don't need the title to start being seen as a leader.

And some of the moments that matter most aren't the big, impressive ones.

They're the moments when everyone else is focused on the problem, and you ask, "What's our best path forward?"

A teammate is struggling, and you step in without being asked.

Something needs to be done, and instead of thinking, "That's not my job," you think about what the TEAM needs to succeed.

Those moments can feel small.

They're not.

Because every one of them is sending a leadership signal:
I see beyond my own responsibilities.
I take ownership.
I think about solutions.
I care about the outcome, not just my piece of it.

And THAT is how you start building a leadership reputation before anyone ever hands you the title.

Your next promotion isn't built only in the big moments.

It's being built in the small ones people remember. 🔥

💬 What's one way you've demonstrated leadership without having the title?

Being reliable is not the same as being seen as leadership.

Many high-performing women spend their days getting everything done, quietly and exceptionally well. But when promotion season arrives, the recognition goes to the person whose impact is easiest for leadership to describe in a room they are not in. Knowing how to get promoted at work has less to do with doing more and more to do with how your value is positioned.

As a leadership coach for women, Shannon Fox teaches clients how to translate the results they already deliver into a leadership narrative that decision-makers understand and reward. Even a focused hour at your favorite café can become career momentum when you are working on the right strategy instead of just the next task list.

• Reframe your daily wins as strategic contributions
• Communicate measurable impact, not just effort
• Build visibility without adding hours to your week

Whether you are in Nashville or working with Shannon virtually from anywhere, the path forward starts with clarity, not more hustle.

Before you ask for a raise, build the case for one.

Most high-performing women walk into salary conversations with great results and no strategy. They know they have earned more, but they have not been taught how to present their impact in the language that makes decision-makers say yes. That is where preparation changes everything.

As a salary negotiation coach, Shannon Fox teaches clients to do the work before the conversation ever happens:

• Define a clear raise goal based on your measurable impact
• Document your wins so your value is impossible to ignore
• Align your ask with what leadership already cares about

When you sit down at your desk with a plan instead of hope, the entire dynamic shifts. You are not asking for a favor. You are presenting a business case.

Whether you are in Denver or anywhere across North America, Shannon's free 90-Day Raise Strategy walks you through each step so you can approach the conversation with confidence, not anxiety.
