Today our Special Olympics team traveled to Navasota. This team worked so hard this season and it has shown in the results! Representing Brenham and bringing home 6 Gold 🥇, 6 Silver🥈, and 2 Bronze🥉 medals today!

Grider Cienega - GOLD in both 100 M run & mini javelin throw 🥇🥇
Jing Ginnard - SILVER in both 100 M run & mini javelin throw 🥈🥈
Nai Ginnard - GOLD in both 100 M run & mini javelin throw 🥇🥇
Will Larkin - BRONZE in 100 M run, SILVER in mini javelin throw 🥉🥈
Aaliyah Powell - SILVER in 100 M run, GOLD in mini javelin throw 🥈🥇
Langston Snow - GOLD in 100 M run, SILVER in softball throw 🥇🥈
Max Wheaton- BRONZE in 100 M run, SILVER in mini javelin throw 🥉🥈

Between the two back to back competitions, this team has a medal count of 13 GOLD🥇, 11 SILVER, & 3 BRONZE🥉!
They deserve a congratulations for all their hard work and dedication this season!

Area 6 Spring Games 2026

Brenham ISD Cubs Special Olympics team took on the Area 6 Spring Games Competition this past weekend in College Station. Team did an amazing job, bringing home 7 GOLD 🥇, 5 SILVER 🥈, 1 BRONZE🥉, one 4th & one 5th place!

Grider Cienega - 200 M run GOLD🥇& mini javelin throw SILVER 🥈
Jing Ginnard - 100 M run 4th & Long Jump 🥈SILVER
Nai Ginnard - 100 M run GOLD 🥇 & Long Jump GOLD 🥇
Will Larkin - 100 M run SILVER 🥈 & mini javelin throw GOLD 🥇
Aaliyah Powell - 100 M run SILVER 🥈 & mini javelin throw GOLD 🥇
Langston Snow - 100 M run BRONZE 🥉& Softball throw SILVER 🥈
Max Wheaton - 100 M run 5th & mini javelin throw GOLD 🥇

Our young unified relay team consisted of Grider Cienega, Will Larkin, Averey Johnson & Sydney Moore brought home GOLD 🥇for Brenham Cubs!

🎳 Regional Bowling Results 🎳

On Friday, January 9, our Special Olympics bowling team traveled to College Station for the Regional Bowling Competition. There were over 700 bowlers registered for the weekend. Our team brought home; 2 GOLD🥇, 2 SILVER, 2 BRONZE, two 4th, one 7th. Please help Congratulate these bowlers for an awesome season!
