Oceanside – 6-Year-Old SBS Gelding by Chicardo | Just Over 16h

Oceanside is an exciting young prospect combining athleticism, rideability, and a genuinely kind disposition. With a naturally balanced canter and a quick, careful jump, he offers a true “sports car” feel while remaining sensible and user-friendly.

Currently competing successfully at Novice, he is confidently schooling Training and Modified questions at home, and has been showing up to .95m in the jumper ring with consistency. He is straightforward on the flat, adjustable to the fences, and continues to develop in all three phases.

A true “in-your-pocket” personality in the barn, Oceanside is easy to handle, enjoys attention, and has proven to be a willing and trainable partner.

This is a quality young horse with the talent and temperament to continue progressing up the levels with a competitive amateur or professional.

In March, I had the rare opportunity to step away from the day to day and spend a few weeks taking daily lessons with . The change in both Dobby and myself far exceeded my expectations, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to focus, learn, and grow.

It truly took a village to make it happen. A huge thank you to the amazing team at the barn who kept the wheels on the bus, .a.merritt for being dad extraordinaire, and of course Ashley for taking in a rogue OTTB and his rider.

We wrapped it all up at Carolina International with our best FEI score to date 💕

Grateful for the journey, the progress, and the people who make it possible.
