A little late to posting about the season... but better late than never. The 2023-2024 season was filled with great times, old friends, new faces and spectacular hunting. Looking forward to what next season has in store. September and the bluewings buzzing on the prairie will be here before we know it.

Big push coming with the front this weekend. Geese and big ducks are already showing up on the prairie but we should see a big increase in the coming days. We are looking forward to the cooler weather and skies full of waterfowl.

You may want to put those cars in the garage...

You probably won't see them since they'll be flying through at night...but a LOT of birds will be migrating this weekend from the north to the south.

I'll be the one out there counting. LOL.

Days 1 and 2 did not disappoint despite being the hottest opening weekend of teal seasonthat i can remember. Heavy straps and lots of laughs both days. A big thank you to Steve Biggers for making it all happen this year with drought. Now let's continue praying for rain and cold front.

Great first two days to start out teal '22. Even though they came to hunt, the birds seem to be just icing on the cake with these guys in the blind. Mainly adult male birds around so the migration is definitely in the early stages. With the moon being full and a north breeze on the way, I look for birds to continue to show up daily.
