Texas A&M Ranch Horse Team

Established in 2006 to bring the culture of the ranch horse industry to college students.

The Texas A&M Ranch Horse Team competes in American Stock Horse Association (ASHA), National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) and Stock Horse of Texas (SHTX) competitions. They show in 4 events, including: Ranch Horse Trail, Reining, Working Cow Horse and Ranch Horse Pleasure. The Texas A&M team consists of 11-14 members, with 6 competing at each show; 2 Novice, 2 Limited Non-Pro and 2 Non-Pro riders.

A few days ago, several of our members had the opportunity to attend the MSC Fall Leadership Conference. We are honored to have had the chance to attend such a high-impact event! WHOOP!

We’re proud to have members who continue to grow as leaders both in and out of the arena. Thank you to everyone who represented us and took the opportunity to connect, learn, and bring new ideas back to our team!

‼️🚨 PHOTOGRAPHERS/VIDEOGRAPHERS🚨‼️

For the second year, the TAMU Ranch Horse Team is offering positions as team photographers! This year we are also in search of a team videographer! This is the perfect opportunity for photographers to practice their skills, feature this position in their resume, add to portfolios, and receive credit on our pages for any photo/videos used.

This year we are keeping positions exclusive to TAMU students that way we can expand the program to allow for travel alongside the team to shows. We are looking to capture team practice’s, team events, horse shows, our team culture, B-roll and more.
