9:13 Athletics Daniel would like to officially welcome our new Assistant Coach, Alanna Garner, to the coaching staff!

Coach Alanna brings years of competitive experience, having played travel softball throughout her youth and four years of varsity softball at River Ridge High School. A true multi-sport athlete, she continued her athletic career at Montreat College as a wrestler after graduating from River Ridge.

Coach Alanna is passionate about helping our athletes develop their softball skills and achieve their goals on the field. Even more importantly, she is committed to investing in each player as a disciple of Christ, encouraging them to grow in their faith and strengthen their relationship with God.

We are excited to have Coach Alanna join the 9:13 Athletics family and can’t wait to see the impact she will make on and off the field. Welcome to the team, Coach Alanna!

It’s hard to believe this is our last tournament of the season. ❤️🥎

These girls have grown so much this year, and we’re thankful for every practice, game, road trip, and memory along the way. We can’t wait to spend one more weekend together doing what we love.

Let’s finish strong, play for each other, play for Him, and enjoy every moment.

Today is a special day for our 9:13 Athletics family as we celebrate Lilly Daniel’s baptism!

Watching our athletes grow in their faith is far more important than any win, championship, or trophy. We are so proud of Lilly for taking this public step of obedience and showing her commitment to following Christ.

Please join us in congratulating Lilly and praying for her as she continues to grow in her walk with the Lord. We love seeing God work in the lives of our girls both on and off the field.

We came up a little short in the Gold Bracket semifinals today, but this team has a lot to be proud of. Finishing 4th in the Gold Bracket is no small accomplishment, and these girls fought hard every step of the way. ❤️💙🥎

Our MVPs from our three wins:

🔥 Macie Davis – Outstanding in the circle and delivered a huge bases-clearing double when we needed it most.

🔥 Mattie Whisenhunt – Came through with big hits and led the way with the most RBIs in her MVP game.

🔥 Harper McElwee – Put together great at-bats and continues to grow in confidence every time she steps on the field.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day happened during our one break of the day. During our devotional, each player shared something they were proud of about themselves, something they admired about each teammate, and an area where they wanted to improve. It opened the door for encouragement, honesty, and support.

We talked about how great teams aren’t built when everything is going well. They’re built when teammates choose to lift each other up, celebrate each other’s successes, and help each other through the struggles.

That’s what we’re striving to be.

Proud of these girls for the way they competed, the way they encouraged one another, and the way they continue to grow together.

On to the next one. ❤️💙
