This most recent trip to Kansas was full of great camaraderie and bird hunting. We had a few firsts this trip, from TJ’s first time hunting wild birds, and vast pheasant populations, to seared ahi tuna on the black stone in a corn field, and many more great memories.

After a 22 hour ride to the great state of Texas and a torrential hail storm we harvested one of the neatest animals I’ve had the opportunity to hunt. Such a great time and quite a thrill!

I’ve hunted the Great Plains of Kansas for the past 4 years with a mission to harvest a prairie chicken, and this year we finally got it done! We had a great trip to Wingshooters Rest with Reece Chambers.
Pheasants, quail, prairie chicken, and a deer. Talk about a grand slam.
