The views at Deacon’s Lodge have been especially stunning after the recent rain—lush fairways, vibrant greens, and some of the most beautiful golf conditions of the season. One standout on the menu is our Kurobuta Pork Tenderloin—often called the Wagyu of Pork. This premium cut is wrapped in bacon and paired with a delicate lavender-peach compote, creating a dish that’s as beautiful on the plate as the views outside the clubhouse windows.

Maria Neva, who just completed her 10th-grade year at Pequot Lakes High School, is headed back to the Minnesota State High School Golf Tournament for her 2nd State appearance! 🏆

Maria has continued to impress on the course with her dedication, talent, and competitive spirit, and we’re excited to see her represent Pequot Lakes on the State stage once again.

Golf runs in the family—Maria’s dad, Mark Neva, is our Head PGA Golf Professional at Deacon’s Lodge, where Maria is also part of our team. She works alongside her sister Annie, another member of our Deacon’s Lodge staff and a standout golfer herself.

We’re proud to have such a talented group representing the game both on and off the course. Congratulations, Maria, and good luck at State! ⛳️

Palmer’s Grille is featuring Curry Bombay Masala Chicken on their dinner menu this summer, served with basmati rice, cucumber raita, and buttered naan.

Chef Brian really knocked it out of the park with this dish. It’s warm, layered with flavor, and thoughtfully prepared from start to finish.

With beautiful weather rolling in, it’s a great time to get out on the course at Deacon’s Lodge this weekend and then head over to Palmer’s Grille for dinner. Great golf, great views, and a meal worth sitting down for.
