Gold Run Nordic Center Scenic vistas and friendly service just 3 miles north of Main Street. Explore daily groomed trails.

Explore 27K of groomed classic and skate ski Nordic trails, 10K of snowshoe and fat bike trails, and 7K of dog-friendly trails. The fun mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain covers stunning landscapes and historic sites. Accessible group and private ski lessons and guided tours are offered daily. A full-service pro shop has clothing, tuning, and equipment for rent, purchase or demo. T

Due to poor snow conditions and significant ice formation on our trails, Gold Run Nordic Center will close for the season on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. This will be the final day of skiing for the year. You are welcome to continue using the upper trail system for as long as you wish, as it is a County Road, however, we will no longer be grooming it. Please also note that the Breckenridge Nordic Center currently remains open.
This has been a very challenging season with historically low snowfall. We are proud of the conditions our grooming team was able to provide despite the circumstances. Thank you for your support, flexibility, and understanding throughout this unprecedented winter. We are hopeful that conditions will return to what we are more accustomed to next season.
