We are officially 29 days out from camp starting. And, excited to welcome our amazing teachers - Phoenix Kazree, Elizabeth Blanchard, Sarah Wolf, Olivia Graves, and Ambre Rouge. As well as all the gorgeous campers who are coming for dancing, learning, growth, friendship, and fun in the mountains of Colorado.

Ambre Rouge started her pole dancing journey and her relationship with sensual movement when she became an exotic dancer in 2005. After a few good years in the industry, her and her sister decided to take a pole fitness class together in 2011. To her, she considers sensual movement with the intertwining of intimate touch as touch therapy, and believes it is a healing modality for all of humanity. She also likes to weave her spirituality and magic into her passion for pole, and believes dance to be a powerful tool to manifest, as well as a tool of self-love, for it helps to heal the connection between mind, body, and spirit. After years of dancing and performing, she took up the helm of being an instructor and teacher, as well as show producer. She is the owner of Circa Vida Entertainment and has put on many shows around the Denver Metro area. She believes everyone can perform as long as they have the drive and passion to dance on stage - every body and every experience level. She has been teaching for over 10 years - 3 of those years were in Florida and the rest in Colorado (Home studio is Rockstar Pole Fitness). Teaching is a way for her to give back, and to share the joys of the art of pole - passionately, humbly, and wholeheartedly. If she changes one person's perspective of themselves to a more loving and compassionate view because of pole, she can die a happy woman!

This morning as I was up early training with Athena Wolf since we are 8 hours apart, and I really, really wanna get my needlescale before I die. In the middle of the extreme agony she was subjecting me to, she helped me laugh at myself which is one of my favorite things to do. So I kept the good times rolling and made a funny thing😂 Pole, dance, and contortion moved in, set up camp, and basically became my personality!

Sometimes I get carried away by emotion when I dance. Tonight I felt like I needed to let loose for all the women who could benefit by stepping into their own power. Pole does it for me but I have also learned I don’t even need to do that to access my power. I really need to just breathe and remind myself my track record for handling things. Hard things. Is pretty damn good. So I invite any woman who is feeling wobbly to find an entry into her unique expression of power and hang out with that awesome feeling for a little the next time she is feeling uncertain! You have the key to your own castle. Always!!!!
