3rd week in a row at heb getting ready for another cookoff. Only this time it's for Momentum at a non sanction event.

First off all glory to God. Because without him we are nothing. Coachin' BBQ made the short trip to Bay City for Matagorda county fair cookoff put on by CBA. Tina Ledbetter and her crew ran a smooth event. RACE CREW DRUM smokers ran flawlessly like always. Last minute decision (Tuesday) to cook this event. I haven't cook a 3 meat contest in a long time. Since it was last minute I just bought all heb meat. So we made the best out of it. After everything was said and done Coachin' BBQ finished:
6th chicken (not saying it's a comeback but it's starting to become consistent)
2nd rib .26 from first place
4th brisket
3rd overall (.56 away from RGC)
Congratulations to Eric Riojas with Loud & Heavy bbq with his GC. And congratulations to Full Belly smokers with their big RGC. Congratulations to everyone else that heard their song today. And congratulations to everyone that got a banner in h-town.

Coachin' BBQ finally made it home from the Champions Barbecue Alliance World championship cookoff. Saturday was a very windy and cold day. However our RACE CREW DRUM smokers ran flawlessly like always being fueld by duraflame B&B charcoal. We was very happy with everything we turned in especially with our chicken. I'm not calling it a come back but it's getting there. And chicken was our best category believe it or not.Pork box we was very happy with after we box it. After it was all said and done we finished
26th chicken
61st ribs🤦‍♂️
69th pork
31st brisket
34th overall out of 114 strong teams.
Huge congratulations Uwe Braun with Beerbelly's bbq with his monster GC. Watching that celebration was awesome. And another huge congratulations to our good friend Danny Regan with hell yeah bbq. I couldn't be any happier for him. Congratulations to everyone that heard their songs and to all who competed out there. I want to say thank you to my wife who is always standing by my side helping me. And huge thank you to my new assistant coach Allen Brown and his wife Heather Brown our new assistant team mom. (Pictutes coming soon of our team together) Everything went so smooth this weekend and cookoffs are alot fun with yall. We really love yall and look forward to the future. And huge congratulations to my youngest son Bradley Hardin He's getting better and better every time he cooks.
