I'll unfortunately be out of town once again for the last full Downtown Farmer's Market of the season, and couldn't find coverage, so we'll unfortunately not be at NEYT tomorrow, and may not be back for the reduced markets in October. We've got some other plans in the works, though, so let us know where you think we should put our energy! Some options:

• Keep doing the market through October
• Start organizing bike repair classes
• Focus on securing a space
• Organize a winter cycling mutual support group
• Build to do the same thing (but better) next year

Brattleboro Community Bike Clinic (or BCBC, pronounced "¡Bici! ¡Bici!") is a mutual aid project to build community self-reliance by creating a space for participants to learn to work on their bikes and keep them roadworthy. For the moment, staff will be present every Tuesday from 4 to 7pm at the Brattleboro Downtown Farmers Market (at NEYT) to help, and we'll have basic tools and some "consumables" (brake pads, tubes, cables, housing) on hand to get the job done. If there's any specific tools or repair parts you need, comment here or drop a line and we'll let you know if we can accommodate your needs!
