(CHATSWORTH, GEORGIA) A late morning deluge doomed tonightโs annual โBiddle Ridley Memorialโ at North Georgia Speedway, which was slated to shell out a $7,553 top prize for the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by GoSunoco. The event at the Chatsworth, Georgia oval will be rescheduled; however, as a make-up date is planned for Thursday, June 18. The Spring Nationals Series will now turn their focus to Duck River Raceway Park on Sunday, May 24, as a $10,053 winnerโs check will be on the line tomorrow at the Wheel, Tennessee facility.
On Sunday at Duck River, the pits will open at 1:00pm and the track will start to allow fans into the grandstands at 4:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 5:00pm and hot laps will quickly follow. Grandstand admission will be $35.00 for adults and $20.00 for kids ages 6-12. Pit admission will be $50.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids ages 6-12. Small children ages 5 and under will be admitted onto the grounds for FREE.
Along with the ground-pounding Super Late Models on the โMemorial Day Specialโ card will be the 602 Late Model, Open Wheel, Bomber, Factory Stock, FWD, Dwarf, Pure Pony, Economy 602, and Kids Mini Cup classes. Duck River Raceway Park is located at 1100 Haskins Chapel Road in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Super Late Model body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - among others.
