Well this week I stepped it up to the next step. Completed my 3 days last week. Wednesday I did 30 min and just walked. Felt like I needed the recovery. So Friday I was ready.
But Monday- y’all- I had an experience. I pushed myself and did 50 mins. But this time I walked 2.5 min and jogged 2.5 min. For 45 min. Last 5 just walked.
Remember - you are always more capable then what you tell yourself.
Pushing through barriers and reclaiming health and fitness.
I know running is not for everyone. But - there are many ways to get exercise. Brisk walk, swim, bicycle, just find what fits you - and do it.

I haven’t posted on this page for quite a while. But I’m back. To let you know. It’s never too late to face whatever is against you. Age, time, people or past experiences. Body mind and soul and spirit. They all have to work together. The body needs the spirit to live. And the spirit - in this realm needs the body. A strong body helps do the work for God. Healthy heart -
Challenge: to work at a goal to become heart healthy. Cardio.
It’s been 3 weeks since I got back on the treadmill.
1-The first step is to eliminate any obstacles.
For me it was to get a treadmill so I can exercise inside. The air quality and seasonal allergens aggregate.
2-set a realistic goal
For me it was 3 days a week. Set Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Days in between giving the body time to recover.
3-get a plan that’s going to keep you moving in the right direction to grow.
My ultimate goal is to be able to jog for 40 min. Have a 5 min warm up and cool down.
My treadmill is set on a 2 incline.
Walk at 3.0 and jog at 4.0
1st week
walk 3 min jog 2 for 20 min.
Walk 3 min jog 2 for 25 min
Walk 3 min jog 2 for 30 min.
2nd week
Walk 3 min jog 2 for 35 min
Walk 3 min jog 2 for 40 min
Walk 3 min jog 2 for 45 min.
3rd week
Walk 3 min jog 2 for 50 min.

That’s where I’m at.
4- do it!!!! Get support of people that will encourage you and help keep you going. And if there are days that you fall down - get back up and dust yourself off and keep going!!!!
It’s about the journey not the destination. Because once you get to that place - there is another destination.

Don’t make the exercises for not being able to achieve something. Look at why you can do.
For a strong and healthy life.
