Point O’Pines has been owned and operated by the Himoff Family since 1984. The Himoff’s have taken great care to preserve many of the traditions that began in 1957 when Hoby and Norma Rosen founded the camp. Everything about Point O’Pines embodies timeless quality and unique attention to detail. Every program has attentive expert instructors and the most modern equipment. Our directors take great care to get to know all new campers individually before they come to camp. By understanding each camper’s individual needs, we can arrange our campers into bunk situations according to their personalities, interests, and compatibility. We connect our new campers with other new and returning campers before camp and every younger camper is paired with an older camp sister to provide a comfortable, friendly introduction to camp life.
