INTRODUCTION TO FISHING WORKSHOP
Have you ever wanted to learn to fish from an area expert? If so, now is your chance to learn the basics and
cast your line. Students will be introduced to the following: Tackle, baits, knot tying, casting, fish handling, and
promoting conservation. Students will learn about what
types of tackle are needed for targeting different species
of fish and learn basic information on where and how to
locate fish in any body of water. Students will need to
bring their own rod and reel and bringing additional tackle is optional. TRCC will provide hooks, weights, bobbers, and night crawlers.
