Super proud of Ed Vescovi, Ironman University Coach and co-founder of the ctcyclecenter a.k.a the Not only did he qualify for and is competing in the Ironman World Championship race in Kona this weekend but he is racing for Brian’s Hope. Brian’s Hope is a local 501(c)(3) charitable foundation dedicated to stopping the progression of Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). “The foundation is named in honor of Brian Kelley, a young man from Branford, CT who was diagnosed with ALD at the age of six. By working to broaden ALD awareness, support medical research, and educate the public about efforts to implement newborn screening nationwide, we hope to see the day when no young boy will endure the challenges Brian has faced throughout the past twenty years.”
