3 is a magic number. I make content for a living, but I also play. I don’t compete in as many tournaments as I’d like. This is my first medal. It doesn’t need to be a gold to feel good. It’s great playing with and at - great people and great competition.

Lukewarm take: Don’t hit to the weaker player at open play. Don’t be afraid to challenge your game and yourself. Check your ego, get humbled. There’s no medals at the end of open play.

Can you relate? I’m not a morning person and I assumed the shoes I grabbed from the dark room were my CourtStrikes. I drove to the early session, not realizing that the shoes I grabbed were NOT what I needed.

Air Monarchs - ultimate dad shoe, yes. Pickleball shoe? Nooooooo.

Thankfully I live close and didn’t miss too much of the session.
