What an experience for our BASA players and families!

Probably my favorite part of game day!! Awesome to have 50+ Brandon Area Soccer Association players for walkout and post game autographs! If your team would like to come out for a walkout or team event, we’d love to create an inspiring experience!

Here are a few notes about the plan for game day:
• Please arrive to the USF Stadium at 6:30 PM (30 minutes prior to game time).
• We would like the players to wear their team jerseys, if possible.
• All players get free entry to the game. When you check in at the gate/entry, please let
them know your player is here for the walkout. To purchase tickets in advance, use
Go Passage our ticket provider or go to https://www.sfthunderfc.com/tickets using
code BASA2026 for $5 off adult or child tickets for this game on June 10. (Tickets for
family and friends may be purchased at the gate for $10 for adults, $5 for adult
seniors 65+ and $5 for kids under 18.)
• Our walkout coordinator, Naomi, will gather the players from the main breezeway
inside the entrance at around 6:40-6:45 to prep them and line up next to the field in
the SW corner.
• For those interested, we usually have 6-10 ball kids per game to help retrieve errant
soccer balls at the end of the field and along the sidelines. On evenings like this, we
usually have an abundance of volunteers, so we may split by half to enable more to
participate.
• The game consists of two 45 minute halves.
• At half-time, we will have drawings for a few soccer balls from our major sponsors.
• We’re honored to have you and hope you enjoy the game.

This team showed exactly what grit looks like this weekend. Even when things weren’t clicking, they battled through adversity, frustrated some outstanding opponents, and proved they could compete with anyone in the tournament. What stood out most was the way they carried themselves off the field—organized, disciplined, and respected enough that other teams hoped they wouldn’t have to face them. These boys represented BASA with pride and gave everyone plenty to cheer for, finishing the weekend with a hard-earned 3rd-place finish in their division.
