The Quick Tip: Squeeze your glutes at the top of the movement for a full 2-second count before lowering the weight. Control the descent—don’t let the machine do the work for you!

Tip Tuesday is back!

Are you getting the most out of the Multi-Press?

The multi-press is a gym goldmine, but only if your setup is dialed in. Because it uses a fixed path, minor alignment mistakes can put unnecessary stress on your joints.

Here is your checklist for today’s chest/shoulder press:

• Line up the knuckles: Adjust the seat height so the handles align with your mid-to-lower chest (for chest press) or right at shoulder height (for shoulder press).

• Pack your shoulders: Retract your scapula. Think about pinning your shoulder blades down and back into the pad before you even start the movement.

• Keep wrists stacked: Don’t let your wrists roll backward. Keep them straight and stacked directly over your elbows to maximize force transfer.
