Wild to think this is just one of the four meats we still need to finish out the year.

We love delivery days around here — they’re basically our cardio.
Brisket’s in. Time to chase down pork and chicken.

We’re in the planning stages for our trip this year — first stop at the American Royal. After that, we’ll be making our way to Lynchburg for the Jack and won’t be coming back home in between.For those of you who’ve done that KC → Lynchburg run, do you have any campground recommendations along the route where we can park the trailer for a night or two? Also open to hearing about any spots we should avoid.

Would love your insight as we map out the best stopover.

We are incredibly fortunate to be headed back to the Jack.
Representing North Dakota in Lynchburg, TN is something we never take for granted — it’s an honor earned through long nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of heart.

Every time we get that notice, it hits just as hard as the first: gratitude, excitement, nerves, and pride all rolled together. To stand on that hill again, to cook alongside some of the best teams in the world, and to carry ND with us — it means everything.

Thank you to everyone who supports us, cheers for us, and believes in us.
We’re ready. We’re humbled. And we’re proud to represent our home once again.

Both kids have friends at the house this weekend. Time to roll out the Dakota Drum Smokers driveway drum to cook up a brisket flat from the cull pile. Rubbed it with T9 Competition Beef. No injection, no time crunch, no pressure.
