We had an awesome day two of scoring and games! Thank you to all the campers that came back for day two and we look forward to our day three tournament tomorrow! Thank you as well to the Brandon High School archers that were able to help campers today and yesterday! Special shout out to Mrs. Becky from B&B Archery for coming down as well and giving our campers some wisdom and knowledge in all things archery!

So thankful to the campers that participated in day one of our camp this year! We look forward to another day tomorrow and Saturday! Special shout out to the Brandon High School archers that were able to come and be a part of the camp to assist and to one of our very own alumni in Leigha Hubbard coming to assist! Leigha currently shoots as a member of the William Carey University archery team where she signed on after graduating!

We had an absolute wonderful time at our last FCA huddle before the summer! Shout out to Jessica McWilliams for sharing her testimony and leading a devotional on self worth, God’s love, and life as a new Christian! It was a blessed night of vulnerability and openness and we are looking forward to continuing this over the summer! Shout out as well to a few BHS students who came and joined us as well!

The BHS Archery team has qualified for the NASP U.S. Eastern National Championships out of Louisville, KY for the second year in a row! For a team to qualify for nationals they have to make a score cut based off of their South State or North State scores each season and that cut varies depending on how teams perform across the nation each year! Last year we had a national qualifying score of 3290 with an older team compromised of mainly seniors/juniors, and this year we had a national qualifying score of 3171 with a younger team compromised of mainly freshman/sophomores! Not a bad way to end the season for an ever growing program!
