Race recap:
Beautiful weather for racing last night! With only 8 cars we got a feature only. Hot laps were good with 4 cars turning the same fastest laps. Quinn started outside pole and quickly took a big lead. He ran some great laps and held off a hard charging John Smith. After 20 green flag laps took the checkers! Win number 2 on the season!! Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors!

Race recap:
We showed up at Devils Bowl and at the pit meeting we were told that the track was packed hard and would be dry and slick. That was spot on and the track was slick and smooth! Quinn started the heat on the outside pole and won the heat with a half a straight lead. He had not been feeling well, and thought that he was going to be sick while driving.

We asked local hot shoe Ray Hanson if he thought he could fit into a 15” seat. He said it would be tight! He squeezed in and said he could do it.

Lucky for us the track got a torrential downpour and Ray ran back to Orwell to get his gear. He started 9th and drove the 9Q to a 2nd place finish. We appreciate Ray stepping in and subbing for Quinn!

🚨 NOON UPDATE - WE ARE RACING TONIGHT!

After evaluating the weather and track conditions, we are officially a GO for racing tonight at Devil's Bowl Speedway! SPREAD THE WORD PLEASE!!

The rain will move through, the track is in great shape, and our team is hard at work preparing it for an exciting night of dirt track action.

⏰ Grandstands & Infield: 4:30 PM

Join us for the Wild & Crazy Enduro, the X-treme DIRTcar Midgets, a full night of racing excitement, and Kids Race Car Rides at intermission!

We had a tough couple of weeks at the track.

5/23: Started 2nd in the heat, stayed in 2nd, broke the chain coming off of turn 4 and coasted to a 2nd place finish.

Started mid pack in the first feature, hit a hole and the chain came off. DNF. Got rained out for Sundays portion of the show. Ended up 5th.

5/30: Went to roll out for hot laps, car was running on one cylinder. Crew changed the plug, no help. Changed the coil, same. Ran out of time. Missed hot laps. Got a spare ECU from a fellow racer (Thanks Tyler Whittemore!). Started 3rd in the feature and got bottled up on the start. And slid back to 6th. Quinn drove a great race and brought it home 5th.

We are aware of what some of the cell phone weather apps are showing for Saturday, but most of the forecasted rain is expected during the early morning hours. Current projections show sunshine returning Saturday afternoon. ALWAYS look at the hourly weather not the headline perecentage!

We fully expect to be racing Saturday night at Devil's Bowl Speedway! The track is sealed up, we're ready to go, and we're looking forward to an exciting night of dirt track action.
