Sensei Ayla Quaglio, President of the Koei-Kan Taikai Committee, is gifted a signed, O'Sensei Frost promotional poster for his June 6, 1983 "Karate Spectacular". This rare find was discovered by Mr. Lachenauer and Branchville's students and families contributed to its purchase. Sensei Ayla is grateful for such a thoughtful and fitting gift and credits her remarkable TEAM for the Taikai's success.

The biggest congratulations to Cristina H. and Minas H. who tested last night. After a grueling test, Cristina earned her Shodan, and Minas earned I-Kyu, his last level of brown. We are so proud of you. More pictures to come.

Ryker is one of the many fantastic young people in our dojo! With his own hard-earned money, he has been a regular supporter of our local food pantry for the past few years with his TREP$ marketplace earnings….while wearing his keikogi no less! 🥋❤️

This young man always shows up when we need help filling our shelves. Ryker used a huge portion of his earnings through TREP$ marketplace to shop variety and staple items, something he has been doing for the past few years. We are so grateful when young people like him are so giving and selfless and think of others! Thank you Ryker (and mom for driving him yet again)

The dojo will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26th to give everyone time to dig out and travel safely or build igloos, sip hot chocolate or unwind with a glass of wine. Stay safe and see you Wednesday! Kendo is still ON for Tuesday night.
