Boro Girl Scouts x Kickside💥

Huge shoutout to the troops for two awesome Self-Defense sessions! The girls crushed it on the mat — kicking, striking, and smiling the whole way through👏🏻

It was our pleasure showing the ladies how to develop self-confidence, stand tall, and move with strength both on and off the mat.

Breakdown the Basics📖: Back Stance
•
Key points to remember:
✅ Linear stance w/ space between heels
✅ 1 Foot Forward, 1 Foot to the side
✅ Front knee slightly bent
✅ Back leg: Hip, Knee, & Ankle aligned
✅ 30% weight on front leg, 70% on back
✅ Hips & Shoulders aligned w/ stance

Stances are your foundation‼️Mastering the fundamentals of a front stance will lead to improvements to other areas of your training
