Join us this Wednesday at 6:30 PM at East Middle School for a community gathering with Town & School officials and faith leaders to show support for an East Braintree Little Leaguer and his family, who need all our love right now. Whether you’re looking for a shoulder to lean on, want to make a card, or just want to support those in our Town – please come by.

To make it easier for families to attend, free childcare will be available. We will also have community resources on hand through Riverside Community Care for anyone needing extra support or assistance during this time. We are strongest together, let’s rally for #7 in true Braintree fashion.

Dear East Braintree Little League Community,

On Friday, June 12, one of our players was involved in a serious automobile accident near Watson Park and was transported to Boston Children’s Hospital as reported by local news organizations.

We have no additional information about his condition at this time. We ask that you keep him and his family in your prayers.

This is a painful and devastating experience for our Little League Community. We understand that this news is difficult and players and families, especially those involved in Friday's accident, will need our support in the days ahead.

We have sent a league wide communication with resources and information to help any families impacted by this event.

For now, we are asking for players to wear their jersey to school on Monday June 15th in support of our little leaguer. Wear your little league jersey, travel jersey, and Braintree Baseball related jersey to show support for our player and all his friends and teammates. We have also asked other Baseball Organizations to spread the word and we thank them for their support and coordination with this effort.

⚾ Machado Memorial Tournament is Back! ⚓🔥

East Braintree Little League is excited to host another amazing summer tournament at Watson Park!

📅 July 16–July 19
📍 Watson Park, East Braintree
🏆 Divisions: 9U, 10U, 11U & 12U

Spots are limited, so any programs interested in joining should reach out as soon as possible.

This tournament is open to B teams or programs with one team. We are not accepting AAU teams, as we want to keep the true B-team spirit of the tournament. Teams are asked to enter on the honor system.

Tournament Highlights:
💍 Each game, teams pick the opposing team’s MVP — and that player receives an MVP ring
💥 Home Run Derby for each age group, with awards for each champion
🏆 Division champions receive custom Machado Champion rings for every player
🪧 Champion teams also receive a plaque to hang at their home complex
🌙 Lights will be brought in so some teams can experience night games
⚾ Fields dragged, prepped, and lined before every game by the best grounds crew in baseball
🍔 Food and drinks available
🎟️ Raffles, t-shirts, and more!

⚾ AA All-Star Game Highlight 🔥

What a way to start the scoring in yesterday’s AA All-Star Game!

The game opened with an exciting inside-the-park home run, setting the tone for what turned into a back-and-forth All-Star battle.

With multiple lead changes along the way, both teams kept fighting until the game finished in a 6-6 tie.

Great job to all the players who competed and gave everyone an exciting All-Star matchup to remember! ⭐⚾

⚾ EBLL Home Run Derby Recap 🔥

What a show at the EBLL All-Star Skills Competition!

In the AAA Home Run Derby, Oliver Cao came through with the derby-winning home run — a shot that nobody could field — to take home the AAA title! 💥⚾

The Majors Home Run Derby brought even more drama, coming down to an incredible battle between Gavin Bennett and Paddy O’Sullivan.

After a 5-swing showdown still wasn’t enough to settle it, the derby went to a 2-swing home run-off.

And Gavin delivered.

He launched a solid home run all the way toward the parking lot to win the Majors Home Run Derby title! 🔥⚾

A huge shoutout to Paddy O’Sullivan as well, who battled tough and put on an amazing performance. The competition, the sportsmanship, and the respect after the final swing showed exactly what All-Star weekend is all about.

Congratulations to Oliver Cao, Gavin Bennett, Paddy O’Sullivan, and all the players who competed! ⭐⚾

🚨AA PLAYOFF UPDATE: THE FINALS ARE SET 🚨

The road to the AA Championship just got a whole lot clearer.

In tonight’s semifinal showdown, the Reds defeated the Red Sox to punch their ticket to the finals. A dominant win, a playoff statement, and one step closer to the championship. 🔴⚾

But even in defeat, the Red Sox made history by turning the first and only triple play of the AA season — an incredible defensive moment that will be remembered long after the final score. 👏

In the other semifinal, the Marlins powered past the Rangers to secure their spot in the championship game. 🌊⚾
