Gull Lake Yacht Club & Sailing School GLSS teaches sailing to ages 4+ and focuses on building community with lake lovers. We are home to t GLYC is home to the growing Fleet #104.

“GLYC” and “GLSS” (Gull Lake Sailing School) were founded in 1947 and continue to operate from the eastern shores of Gull Lake near Brainerd, Minnesota. In partnership with GLSS they have hosted and continue to host local, regional and National regattas. GLSS focuses on sailing classes, teaching kids to advance their knowledge in sailing techniques and expand their enjoyment of being on the water. Our instructor led courses focus on the variety of skills from kids of all ages.

GCOLA is once again teaming up with the Sheriff's Department to offer youth boat safety classes for kids ages 12-17.

Your student will attend one of the following offerings:
Tuesday, June 16,
Tuesday, June 23, and
Thursday, July 16

Check in at 8:30 am and class’s start at 9 am.
RSVP with Mary Kay Larson at 218-831-5656.
25 students per class.

All participants will receive hands on experience, pizza lunch courtesy of Zorbaz, a lifejacket courtesy of GCOLA, and boating operator permit.

Class will conclude by 1 pm and it is free of charge.
