Coaching for me is a privilege. Working with riders that want to increase thier knowledge & skill set is both challenging & rewarding.

Seeing a rider progress thru a day or weekend is almost like watching someone learn how to walk; while there may be a couple of set backs in the beginning, being witness to seeing thier confidence grow and improve on skills is something that I find hard to put into words ...

To those who I've had the pleasure of working with during my time coaching with ZARS, I hope that you've gained something from me, and know that I've gained much as well... it is also my hope that you will someday do the same for another person in whatever form that takes on.

I hope you've seen the passion & love that I have for this sport and what I get to do...

While I am certainly not the best or the fastest rider when compared to other talented members of our riding community, know that behind my visor I've cheered you on, talked you thru a corner or even shed a tear because I witnessed you overcome a challenge you were struggling with.

You are all my success. Thank you.

As I approach another year of life I am starting to recognize that we are all distantly related, all family, all connected, all human, all spawned from the same origin in time. We may look different, sound different, think different, but we are all human, all connected.

Some of us are blind to the world around, and refuse to grasp the connection. Some of us only see things in the colors of our outside, but it's the color of our inside that binds us. We are one race, we are one people, and it's only our thoughts and opinions that make us truly different. Our color, religion, birthplace, or even heritage...yes those are differences, but in physical form we are the same.

I hope one day people of all colors will evolve beyond the confines of limited thinking, of bigotry, of hate, and of realizing that we can think differently and still accept one another despite those variations in our humanity...

I love the track community for these reasons, because it is my utopia, my mecca, and my place of peace. We enter the track and it's as if the only thing different is what we ride and the thrill of speed or of competition, or both....
