Our story began with our CEO, Brent Kramer, whose iconic red Ice Castle fish house became a local landmark outside his second business. In 2010, Yetti Fish House, a burgeoning company
specializing in fish house shells, approached Brent with a unique opportunity to sell their products. With his entrepreneurial drive, Brent seized the chance and began offering these high-quality shells. Brent’s vision and dedication quickly propelled the business forward. He partnered with various companies to customize and complete the fish house shells, and demand soared. Sales along Highway 371 grew rapidly, leading Brent to assemble a skilled team to support the expanding operation. This success marked a turning point, and Brent fully committed to building a premium fish house dealership, naming it Ice Forts. Ice Forts flourished under Brent’s leadership and the steadfast support of his vice president and wife, Sherry Kramer. Their shared love for Minnesota’s outdoor lifestyle fueled their mission to deliver custom fish houses that embodied quality and innovation. By 2020, Brent and Sherry recognized an opportunity to expand beyond fish houses, embracing a broader range of outdoor recreational products to reflect their passion for all outdoor pursuits. In the summer of 2024, after years of growth and dedication, Brent and Sherry proudly rebranded the company as 371 Outdoors. This evolution reflects our expanded vision and commitment to serving outdoor enthusiasts with premium, customizable products.
