Dear Brent Christian Haney,

What can I say about a guy who exudes gentle man? You are a pillar of incredible to me. You always keep your word. Always. When someone asks you to show up, the answer is always yes. When someone attempts to demean you, you model what a real man would do….rise above and forgive them.

I have to be honest. I don’t think anyone could ever match your strength, your heart, your kindness, your loyalty, your generosity…even at the absolute youngest age…you were always there for me.

Happy 20th birthday, Brent. There aren’t words enough to say how much I love you with all my heart.
