Talk about a lovely trip to Arizona. Pheonix did notI disappoint. The hikes were short but the family time was plentiful. I look forward to going back soon. It was a real eye opener that I’m not ready for those big climbs just yet. But I did over 1k feet of ascent across the two hikes.

I had an absolute blast last night camp gruber orv last night! I went night riding with about 20 other jeeps. Thanks to Green Country Jeepers for having us. Night riding is a whole new experience plus it’s nice to flex those lights. Side note it appears Rubi is drawn to the mud and I cannot go to gruber without getting mud and water in the floorboards.

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful green space right here in Tulsa! Today was a great morning for a hike at Turkey Mountain - Tulsa. If you get a chance go out and take in the nature.

Talk about a great Labor Day weekend! I was lucky enough to spend Saturday and Sunday hiking in Northwest Arkansas. Saturday we did 8 miles at Hobbs Recreational Area and Sunday we did a 4 mile loop in Springdale. The look included an awesome cave! I highly recommend checking these out!

This chapter of my life is called giving back. Today I was lucky enough to join roughly 30 people volunteering our time for trail maintenance at Turkey Mountain. Sometimes you time is worth the most. Giving back to the community just feels right. I hope you all get the chance to give back.

It is such a joy being able to volunteer to improve my local areas. As a volunteer on the Turkey Trail Team I was able to clear a downed tree on my designated trail today. I love that Tulsa has such wonderful green spaces like Turkey Mountain - Tulsa. I hope to do part to keep it beautiful for generations to come. Hiking in the chainsaw a mile was truly the hardest part.

What a great weekend! Hiking at Hobbs Recreational Area. Then kayaking the Buffalo National River. Today we went on a fun little hike at Natural Falls State Park.
