Here is the notice for the next FREE* concealed carry class. Only 15 spots! Please call the store to register for the class. 815-790-0070 from 11am to 7pm.

These will be held on November 12th and 13th at the Papineau Fire Station. If you took day one already you can sign up for day two separately.

DAY 1. Which is the NRA BASIC PISTOL class.

This class alone is a minimum of a 75⁰⁰ value. Many places charge more. This class teaches all the basics of pistols no matter what pistol you own, it's covered. Our NRA certified instructor goes over the NRA class in detail and even the seasoned gun owner learns something new. This class is recommended for anyone brand new to firearm ownership to someone well versed in fi****ms. This class is 8 hours long and you will need to bring your gun and up 80rds to qualify. Please DO NOT bring your ammo into the classroom. The 8 hours is good towards your 16 hours for you Illinois Concealed carry class.

DAY 2. This class (plus the NRA class) teaches what is required by the state to receive your certificate for your concealed carry license. This class is also 8 hours and is taught by a certified Illinois Concealed Carry instructor. One this is completed you may apply for you CCL.

*These classes and the range fees are free and paid for by T-Rex's Small Arms LLC. All materials, books, handouts, etc are for the students to keep. We do use a local fire department and we ask (not mandatory) to give a 10⁰⁰ donation to the fire department for use of their facility. Safety and training is our goal and T-Rex's believes that money shouldn't stand in your way of learning how to be a responsible, safe gun owner. These are excellent classes are not just a run of the mill pushing people through. Our instructors care and will take the time to work with you and make sure your confidante and comfortable with your firearm.

Closer and closer until RNR will be in the shadow of this place. Great things to come, I will be better able to serve customers. My staff is very knowledgeable and we will have a gunsmith and AR builder on the payroll. Not to mention several firearm instructors. Yes. Great things indeed.

Today wraps up a bitter sweet show. Less than 2 years ago I did my first gun show. I started off with 1 table that had about 16 ²ft of space and had no idea wtf I was doing. That 1st show I was extremely busy and I learned on the fly, took notes, and constantly thrived to improve. Some things worked, some didn't. I turned to we pretty fast. I feel I got some of the best help in the business and we've grown to an impressive 100 ²ft of table space with what I feel has some of the coolest firearm selections... anyway, I say bitter sweet because going forward, let's face it, we flat out out grew RNR Fi****ms. T-Rex's Small Arms LLC will make its debut at the next show. With my drive and my awesome team and what each them bring to the table, I'm confident that T-Rex's will be a sucess.
