BBCHS Cross Country - BBXC

Another Solid outing and day for the Boilers XC team as we continue to find success on the course. Out of the 27 athletes that competed today we had 16 lifetime PR’s. The girls showed a lot of promise today with their pack running as they continue to show growth.

While the boys continue to show they mean business finishing the day winning the Plainfield Central Invitational for the first time. With Brayden Domont setting a new Freshman School Record and Kyler Savini setting the new Sophmore School Record

Below are some highlights of what they accomplished.

Phenomenal start to the season this year with our pre conference meet. A lot of good things to look ahead towards.

On the boys side after the weekends meets and meets from yesterday we are currently sitting at 11th in the state. varsity team has 2 freshman 4 sophomores and a jr.

on our girls side we had a phenomenal start as well picking up right where we left off at the end of season with girls times last year yet with a lot of new faces!

Our BBCHS Cross Country team is seeking your support! We're a dedicated group of athletes who strive for excellence, and your generosity will help us achieve our goals. Donations will directly support our Uniform Expenses, Warm ups, Team Meals, Pre-Meet Pasta Parties, Breakfast Club, Senior Night, Equipment Purchases (Massage guns, Rollers, Compression Recovery systems, Team Tents, snacks, recovery drinks). All of this will provide opportunities for our runners to reach their full potential.

Whether you're a current team member, an old team member, a proud parent, a community supporter, or just someone who believes in the power of teamwork, your contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference. BBXC Athletes and Parents. It’s that time of the year again to start preparing for summer and the end of track season and end of school. With that comes a new XC season. I have information attached for summer running and for our HS XC Camp.

Note: HS XC camp is for all currentt 8th graders goingg to be freshman and all current freshman through jr’s moving up a grade level.

Our season has begun and we couldn’t be more excited!

Come out to Preview night around 6:40pm this friday the 23rd and meet our guy and girl XC teams.

While you’re out, pick up some XC Merch and buy some raffle tickets (Only $5 each!!!!) with a chance to win some big prizes!

All proceeds go directly back into our XC program for new uniforms, warm ups, breakfast for morning practice, water/gatorade, and snacks for all athletes!

Had a great turn out our first week of summer running! hoping to see more athletes out there with us!

Monday - BBCHS @ 6:30pm (meet at the track)
Wednesday - Perry Farm @ 6:30pm (meet under pavilion)
Friday - Davis Creek @ 8:30am

Looking forward to a successful summer program leading into cross country season!
