🔥 PHENOMENAL DAY ON THE XC COURSE! 🔥

What a day of racing for our Boilers! Out of the 30 athletes who competed today, 26 recorded either a Lifetime PR or a Season Best! 🤯

📈 8 Season Bests

That’s 26 athletes continuing to improve and push themselves forward! 💪

It was an incredible day to get out, compete, and see the hard work our athletes have been putting in all season start to pay off. We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, toughness, and determination shown by both our guys and girls today.

The season is far from over, and we’re excited to see what this group can accomplish as we continue to build toward the postseason! 🔥

Keep working. Keep believing. Keep getting better.

As a Team we have been talking through different Me 2 moments.

Me = What I can Control.
2 = When something happens TO me.

This weeks topic was mentality and toughness. Here is a synopsis of our conversation this week.

Everybody can be tough when things are going well. The difference is what you do when they aren't.

You don't have to pretend you're not tired. You don't have to pretend you're not nervous. You don't have to pretend something isn't hard.

You simply have to make the decision: “This is hard—and I'm still going.”

ME: What can I control?
2: What am I going to do next?

CONTROL THE MOMENT.
WIN THE NEXT 30 SECONDS.
RAISE THE STANDARD.
KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

Toughness isn't never wanting to quit. Toughness is having the ability to want to quit—and choosing not to.

Our middle school camp this week has had an awesome turnout. We have had some hot days, but these kids are putting in the work!

Another Solid outing and day for the Boilers XC team as we continue to find success on the course. Out of the 27 athletes that competed today we had 16 lifetime PR’s. The girls showed a lot of promise today with their pack running as they continue to show growth.

While the boys continue to show they mean business finishing the day winning the Plainfield Central Invitational for the first time. With Brayden Domont setting a new Freshman School Record and Kyler Savini setting the new Sophmore School Record

Below are some highlights of what they accomplished.

Phenomenal start to the season this year with our pre conference meet. A lot of good things to look ahead towards.

On the boys side after the weekends meets and meets from yesterday we are currently sitting at 11th in the state. varsity team has 2 freshman 4 sophomores and a jr.

on our girls side we had a phenomenal start as well picking up right where we left off at the end of season with girls times last year yet with a lot of new faces!
