Great team effort today by your Bradford Blizzard 8U team! Shoutout to Elijah Schine on a hat trick and Cooper Smolak for finding the back of the net! Blizzards goaltender Michael Mascho stood tall in his first ever game between the posts and made some really great saves!

There is no practice Thursday December 25th. Practices will resume on Monday December 29th.

Looking for a way to beat the cold winter months? Its never too late to sign up for youth hockey! House program has no fees...great way to get kids involved in the coolest game on ice! Helmet, gloves, and pads are all provided. All skill levels welcome! Practices are Monday and Thursday from 6:30-7:30 PM at Callahan Ice Rink located in Bradford.

Another fun week of hockey is in the books! This past week the coaches worked on more skating drills that included one leg skating and jumps to help with balance and strength. We also spent time on dump and chase which is a fun competitive drill and one arm puck possession drills that helps with both speed and puck possession. Both practices were finished off with the kids favorite...scrimmage games.

Best of all...our first time skaters are progressing very well and will be skating on their own very soon!!

I always forget to take pictures during practice. More pics to come!

The Blizzards had a great couple of practices this past week!
All the kids did great with skating and puck control drills. And of course the kids love to scrimmage and most importantly have fun!

Practices will continue next week Monday and Thursday 6:30-7:30.

House practice tomorrow 6:30-7:30! Time to start building the ankle and leg strength back up! Cant wait to see everyone there!

The 2025/2026 Bradford Blizzard Youth Hockey Registration is now open. All new skaters are welcome. To register please go to bradfordhockey.org

The first day of House hockey is scheduled for Monday November
3rd!

Equipment will be handed out Monday October 27th and Thursday October 30th that includes a helmet, shoulder pads, hockey pants, shin pads, gloves, jersey and socks.
