We started with the Gordons Groc today! A medium roast and you get a nice hint of butterscotch and caramel while not losing the true black coffee taste! Great stuff :)

All signs are pointing toward a great year of grouse brood survival! Grouse brood sightings have been consistently high this year ranging from 7-10 so far after the first 2 weeks after hatch which is some of their most vulnerable times. It’s been a pretty dry early June in our region so I’m not surprised. Drumming surveys were also higher at sites that have been established for many years. This little one was just 1 of 7 in this brood on the dirt road.
