We’re not surprised very much about what we find while repairing irrigation leaks, but this one a few weeks ago got us. We were not prepared to find the 6in tee encased in a 4x4x3 ft deep concrete pad. Especially since most leaks we have encountered had no thrust blocks.

1st greens aerification of 2024 in the books with 1/4in viper tines.

We would like to remind everyone that while fivesomes are allowed with approval there should never be any golf groups with over 5 Players on a hole at a time (unless it is under special circumstances like a tournament). The amount of traffic “especially on greens” with 6, 7 or 8 golfers on a hole is detrimental to the health of the turf.

We will be meeting at the clubhouse at 10am Tuesday Jan 23rd to remove the greens covers.

With the Artic Air coming in this week, we will be covering greens today Monday Jan 15th at 1pm. Anyone who wants to help out can meet us up at the clubhouse at 1pm.
